Claude Code made the promo video for my SaaS!

Hey guys 👋 happy weekend!

Small show and tell. I wanted a TikTok style video for PricePush, the fast kind where something new hits the screen every second and a half or so. So I asked Claude Code to build it.

It went through a video I liked frame by frame to copy the pace, wrote the script with me, built everything in Remotion and pulled every price straight from my app's code.

The voice is mine. The first version had an AI voice and it felt so wrong 😅 so Claude made me a tiny recording booth: it plays the line, I read it, it transcribes my take and tells me if I skipped a number.

PricePush finished 3rd Product of the Day on Uneed 🥉

Honestly I did not expect anything. The top spots had around three times my votes, so I went in with zero expectations. Congrats to them!

One thing I actually respected. Through the day I saw vote counts swing both up and down, sometimes by 50 or 70 at a time. The drops are the interesting part: it looks like Uneed's abuse guards are catching and removing fake votes. Props to @Thomas_Sanlis and the Uneed team for actually building that, because I never saw it happen on Product Hunt.

On PH it was the opposite. Within an hour of launching, my DMs were flooded with people selling "pay for votes" services. I am not accusing anyone of anything, I only know what I saw, but it tells you a lot about how some launch numbers come together.

I decided a while ago that I would rather finish lower and honest than higher and bought.

So what actually made my week was not the ranking. It was the reviews.
