PeopleBuild came from a problem I’ve personally felt for a long time: it’s hard to find the right people for your ideas, and it’s also hard to find worthwhile ideas where you can contribute.
Part of the inspiration also came from layoffs and job transitions. When a company changes direction, the people who know how to build do not suddenly lose their trust, skills, or ability to execute. I wanted to explore whether there should be a better way for those people to find each other and start something new.
The current MVP is focused on three things:
- finding collaborators
- finding ideas to join
- reconnecting with trusted former teammates
I’m mostly looking for early feedback on which of those is the strongest wedge.
