minimo (video) is a free video compressor for iOS and Android. Compress one video or a whole batch directly on your device, with simple quality presets or precise controls for resolution, bitrate, frame rate, codec, and audio. No account, cloud upload, or subscription required.
Large videos are difficult to share and quick to fill up a phone. Many compression tools solve that by uploading the original file to a server. minimo (video) takes a simpler, more private approach: compression happens entirely on your iPhone or Android device.
Choose a video from your gallery or Files, pick a quality level, and compress it. High, medium, and low presets keep the common path quick. When you need more control, advanced settings let you choose the output resolution, bitrate, frame rate, H.264 or HEVC codec, and whether to keep audio.
minimo also supports batch compression. Add multiple videos, configure them once, and follow overall and per-video progress while they are processed sequentially. When compression finishes, compare the original with the result, save the smaller files to your gallery, or share them directly.
The app protects the original by default. If a new file is not at least 10% smaller, minimo discards it instead of keeping a near-duplicate that wastes more space. Originals are never changed unless you explicitly choose a supported replacement or deletion action.
