Dumbo Health's pathway begins with an at-home sleep test. Patients order a kit, priced at $149, which uses the WatchPAT device to record overnight sleep data without requiring a visit to a sleep clinic. Once the data is collected, it is reviewed by sleep physicians on the platform, who then generate a diagnostic report. Where appropriate, a prescription for a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machine or a Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD) follows.
From there, patients select a monthly subscription plan for their CPAP therapy. Three tiers are available: Essentials at $59/month with a ResMed AirSense 10, Premium at $89/month with a ResMed AirSense 11 and two annual clinician check ins, and Elite at $129/month, which includes unlimited telehealth visits, personal coaching, automatic device upgrades, and damage coverage under a plan called DumboCare. Subscription pricing is structured to avoid large upfront costs and does not require insurance.
Ongoing care is managed through the Dumbo Health app, which tracks device usage, monitors therapy progress, and connects patients with clinical support. The platform also integrates with third-party wearables including Apple Watch and Oura Ring, pulling in additional health data to build a broader picture of a patient's sleep patterns over time.
The company describes its mission as making sleep apnea treatment "fun, affordable, and accessible," with a stated vision of reducing the burden of the condition regardless of a patient's financial situation or perceived social stigma around using a CPAP device.
