Local database client built for agent queries

Hey everyone!

Agents write most of our queries now. So we built the database client around that.

Valv gives the coding agent you already run a real workspace on your database. It explores your schema, runs queries safely, writes code, and builds on what it learned last time. You stay in the loop and verify the work.

What you get:

  • Cited answers. Every answer links back to the queries behind it, so you can check the work.

  • Your own agent. Bring Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, opencode, or Grok on your own subscription.

  • Memory. Teach it your schema once. It remembers your tables, joins, and what each KPI means to you.

  • Code mode. When SQL runs out, the agent writes code in a sandbox that joins and exports millions of rows without sending them to the model.

  • Files you own. Your workspace is a git repo. Queries, dashboards, and memory sync through it, so your team shares one history.

  • Safe by policy. Credentials stay in your keychain. Hidden columns never reach the agent.

  • A real client underneath. Browse schemas, open live tables, and write SQL yourself whenever you want.
