TwexAPI is a REST API for public X (Twitter) data. Search posts, read user timelines, replies and profiles, export follower lists, pull trends, lists and communities, and read X Articles as Markdown. Responses are JSON, and reads need only an API key, not a Twitter account.
Pricing is prepaid credits: about $0.05 per 1,000 post or profile reads, compared with $5 per 1,000 post reads on the official X API pay-as-you-go plan. New accounts get 20,000 free credits without a credit card.
TwexAPI ships SDKs, a command-line client and a hosted MCP server, so AI agents in Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients can call it directly. The website also offers free no-code tools, including a Twitter viewer and an advanced search builder.
