A while ago, I saw a trend going around — people wearing t-shirts with QR codes that, when scanned, showed hilarious surprise messages. I loved the idea.
But… most of those were tied to specific merch. You had to buy the shirt. And I thought:
What if anyone could create their own QR message, no shirt required?
Just pure, silly, shareable surprise.
So I built Qratchy (QR + catchy 😉). It’s a free little tool that lets you create short messages, drop in a GIF, an image, or even a YouTube video—and instantly get a QR code + a unique URL you can share anywhere: on paper, shirts, bathroom mirrors, notes, you name it.
No sign-up. No tracking.
Some people use it for jokes, others for hidden love notes, and some for weird little street experiments. I honestly can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Thanks so much for checking it out!
Would love your feedback, ideas, and of course, your weirdest use cases 😄
