Dyff is an open source IDE for code review. It opens any pull request with an AI-generated code walkthrough, full-codebase search, file navigation, and AI findings you can evaluate. Available as a free cloud service (during Open Beta) or as a self-hosted instance you run on your own infrastructure.

Why Dyff?
Reviewing code is my daily work. The goals are straightforward: keep the codebase healthy, debate the approach with the team, and catch bugs before they ship.
I've used the GitHub PR view for as long as I can remember.
However large PRs frustrate me. Scrolling and Ctrl+F do not really work for a 40-file change. Reaching for code that lives outside the diff is not a good experience
Checking the branch out locally works, but it has its own tax.
So I built Dyff, first as a Github-like PR viewer with full-codebe search.
Then I noticed AI was good at reading a large diff and telling me what mattered, what to read first, and what I could skip. That became the walkthrough.
Tracing a call chain or finding every usage of a symbol also a common task that AI can help with. So I built the AI chat to help with that stuff
Anyway - that's Dyff.

You need to submit a Gihub Personal Access Token to let Dyff access your repositories.
You bring your own API key for the LLM provider you prefer. We don't mark up inference.
Can Dyff be self-hosted?
Yes. Dyff is open source under Apache 2.0 and ships with a Docker Compose setup.
