The thing that bit us with analytics was not privacy but bots. A good share of our job board traffic came from cloud IP ranges, Google Cloud, AWS and the like, and it showed up as real visits and even as clicks on apply buttons, so we ended up checking IPs against provider ranges and switching tracking off for them before anything is sent. Is that something Aptabase filters on its side, or do you expect the app to decide which events are human?
