Are you tired of what Doodle became? So were we, and we didn't find any of its alternative very seducing, so we've decided to build our own: Pollendar 🔥
The idea is straightforward:
you're organising an event (interview, rehearsal, gathering...);
you propose options (dates, time slots) to the participants (colleagues, friends, family...);
they give their availability (yes, no, maybe);
the options that suit most people are highlighted in green.
And that's basically it! Nothing groundbreaking, but no fuss, no muss, and no ads: options + votes = results ✅
We focused on keeping the UX as simple and mobile-friendly as possible, while ensuring your privacy is protected:
no 3rd-party analytics tools,
no account required (although recommended),
no email address stored unless you want to be notified...
We have no plan on monetising it so far, we just wanted to build something useful for us and others. Yes, we pay for the hosting, we're fine with it, it's worth the feeling of having built something useful 😊
