Speare is a versatile writing tool, great for everything from a press release to a novel. If you're familiar with Ulysses for Mac and iOS, you'll find some similarities, I think. But Speare is also a database for helping you keep track of your projects. I'd give it five stars, but there's always room for improvement. Right now the editor window is pretty basic. That is, it does most of what it needs to, but I'd like to see it get to first-class. This is a really fine app, that I expect to get even better.

Best writing tool by a long shot.

Youtube videos helped millions - but teachers don't get rewarded. Private tutoring is impactful - but it's expensive as hell. explanations.app is a middle-ground between Youtube & Tutoring. Lots of students pay $10/month to a Youtube Teacher, who creates videos based on the questions students ask. About 5 TAs, researchers & students from MIT have signed up to become teachers, but anyone can teach, anyone can learn, it's an open platform, and I think the real world has much better incentives than universities.
