## About

I used Things 3 for five or six years, then work gave me a Windows laptop and it didn't run there. The alternatives I tried were built for teams or turning into project management tools, and most of them pushed AI hard. So I built TaskPocket, and I've used it every day for almost a year.

It's small on purpose. The whole system is an inbox, Today, Upcoming, Someday, and projects grouped into areas. You type tasks the way you'd say them: "water the plants every other saturday at 10am" sets the date, the repeat, and a reminder. Every task can hold notes, a checklist, tags, and files, and pictures and PDFs preview right in the browser.

There's no AI inside. Instead there's a public API and an MCP server, so you can connect the Claude or ChatGPT you already pay for.

It runs in any browser, and the iPhone app works offline. There's no Android app yet, no sharing or teams, and no import from other apps.

The free plan has unlimited tasks, 5 projects, and 2 areas. Premium adds deadlines, smart projects, a month calendar on the web, and more room for files.
