## About

$4.99 once. No subscription. Your data only goes to your own servers.

Tabel is a fast, private database client for Mac, made for people who work with PostgreSQL and SQLite every day.

Fast

The database engine is written in Rust and keeps results in memory, while the native Mac grid only draws the rows you can see. A 1,000-row page from a 60,000-row table appears in a few milliseconds.

Browse and edit

- Page through tables, sort with a click and filter without writing SQL

- Edit cells in place, add, duplicate and delete rows, or set a value to NULL

- Changes are highlighted and saved together in one transaction; "Show SQL" shows exactly what will run

- Row inspector for long text and pretty-printed JSON

SQL editor

- Syntax highlighting and autocomplete for tables, columns and keywords

- ⌘↩ runs the statement under the cursor, ⇧⌘↩ runs the whole script

- Cancel long-running queries

- History stays on your Mac

SSH and TLS

- Built-in SSH tunnel with private keys (ed25519, ECDSA, RSA, passphrase-protected too) or a password

- Tabel shows the server's fingerprint the first time and warns you if it changes

- TLS for PostgreSQL, including full certificate verification

Overview

- Structure: columns, indexes, foreign keys and the CREATE statement

- Quick Open (⌘K) for any table, view or function

- Keyboard all the way: ⌘N new row, ⇥ between columns, ↩ to edit, ⌘↩ to save

- Colour-coded environments: production gets a red bar, and Tabel asks before anything is written

- Export as CSV, JSON, SQL INSERT or Markdown

- Import your connections from TablePlus, or paste a connection URL

Private

No account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Tabel only talks to the servers you connect to. Passwords live in the macOS Keychain, and the App Sandbox makes sure Tabel only opens files you choose.
