## About

editpot is a layered image editor that runs in your browser by default. Open a PNG, JPG, GIF, PSD or AI file and start editing — no signup, no install, no watermark.

What you can do

Resize, crop, rotate, and change canvas size from any anchor point

Make transparent PNGs with lasso, magic wand and eraser, with feathered selections

Work in layers: masks, blend modes, opacity, strokes and shadows

Add text that stays re-editable until you export

Paint, draw shapes, fill, gradients, and blur / sharpen / noise filters

Generate favicons — real .ico files plus a ZIP with every size a site needs

Edit animated GIFs frame by frame and change frame delays

How it works

Editing runs on canvas in the browser by default, so files are not uploaded to be processed. Signing in is optional and not needed to edit or export.

Limits, up front

PSD and AI files open as flattened images (AI: first artboard only); editpot does not save back to .psd or .ai

50 MB per file, up to 8,000 px per side, 5 files at a time

Re-encoding a GIF re-quantizes each frame to 256 colours

No video-to-GIF conversion and no batch processing yet
